Cami Parsons, a junior at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, will serve as the 2019 summer intern for Motor Racing Outreach (MRO), a non-profit organization founded in 1988 to serve the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series racing community.
Parsons is a native of Huntersville, N.C., and a 2016 graduate of Southlake Christian Academy. She is the daughter of retired NASCAR driver and team owner Phil Parsons, now an announcer for FOX NASCAR.
According to the Motor Racing Outreach Association website, the organization “exists to foster and encourage fellowship in our common faith in Christ through ministering to the needs of the racing community and its fans and especially among our members.”
